Queen D is more than this month’s guest host — she is a woman in motion.
An educator. A devoted mother. A truth-seeker. A survivor.
For over 20 years, she and She.Unapologetic have grown side by side — not always agreeing, often debating, but always sharpening one another. Their bond is not rooted in sameness, but in courage: the courage to think independently, to speak honestly, and to love across difference.
Queen D is a woman who has endured and survived domestic violence, and rather than allowing that chapter to define her, she has chosen to redefine herself. She is actively reconstructing what womanhood, motherhood, power, and softness mean on her own terms.
A student of spirituality, politics, Blackness, and culture, she interrogates the world with depth and nuance. She challenges narratives. She studies systems. She wrestles with faith. She examines womanhood through a lens that is layered, analytical, and…
